A modern icon.
Nosferatu is a collection dedicated to one of horror cinema’s most enduring and influential creations, tracing the legacy of Count Orlok from F. W. Murnau’s landmark 1922 silent film to its acclaimed reinterpretations and modern adaptations.
Inspired by Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, the story follows the terrifying vampire Count Orlok as he brings fear, death and supernatural horror wherever he travels, establishing many of the visual and thematic conventions that continue to define vampire fiction.
Over the past century, Nosferatu has evolved into a cultural phenomenon through films such as Werner Herzog’s ‘Nosferatu the Vampyre’ (1979) and Robert Eggers’ ‘Nosferatu’ (2024).
