Wet Leg are an English indie rock band formed on the Isle of Wight in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers.
Blending indie rock, post-punk, alternative rock and witty, deadpan lyricism, the duo quickly emerged as one of Britain’s most acclaimed new acts following the viral success of their debut single ‘Chaise Longue’. Their self-titled debut album, ‘Wet Leg’, received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, winning multiple Grammy and Brit Awards.
Expanded into a live five-piece, Wet Leg have become renowned for their energetic performances, sharp humour and infectious guitar-driven sound. Their success has established them as one of the leading bands of the post-pandemic wave of British alternative rock.
