“The last thing I need in the world is a photo of me on a hot air balloon with Puff Daddy.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is an American record executive, rapper, producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer who played a pivotal role in shaping hip hop and contemporary R&B during the 1990s and 2000s.
After working at Uptown Records, he founded Bad Boy Records in 1993, launching and developing the careers of artists including the Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, 112, Mase and Total. As a recording artist, Combs achieved commercial success under stage names including Puff Daddy, P Diddy and
Diddy, releasing hit albums such as ‘No Way Out’. Alongside his music career, he built businesses spanning fashion, media and beverages. Since 2023, however, his career has been overshadowed by numerous civil lawsuits and criminal charges. Combs has denied many of the allegations against him, while legal proceedings remain ongoing.
