From Squeeze to Fcukers: The biggest shows announced this week
In all honesty, it’s not been the biggest week when it comes to tour news as festival season continues in full folow
In place of tour announcements, several show cancellations have flooded newsfeeds from every side of the industry: The Beach Boys have cancelled their summer tour, Johnny Marr has postponed his Wembley Arena show, and Ryan Adams has cancelled an entire tour run due to “sickness”.
Amid all the doom and gloom, it’s hard to pick out the real golden nuggets reminding us that live music is alive and thriving, despite all the TicketMaster refunds and non-refundable train tickets. Worry not: Let Far Out do the digging for you.
First off, fresh from their São Paulo support slot on Harry Styles’ international residency tour, electronic duo Fcukers have unveiled an exciting flurry of North American dates kicking off this September.
Their high-energy trip-hop house is sure to turn any venue into a club, as they venture onwards in what’s been an epic year of partying, performing and surprising TV debuts for the unsuspecting stars.
Beastie Boys legend Mike D has also announced a new batch of tour dates for later this year with his live band, Mike D’s 5D. He’s confirmed plans to hit up California in September, which will see him perform in Santa Ana, Los Angeles and Santa Cruz.
His North American itinerary also includes dates in Vancouver, Portland, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Toronto, before he moves on to a handful of dates across Europe and the UK in October and November.
Elsewhere, English new wave band Squeeze will perform far from home in Australia and New Zealand next year, appearing in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth next April.

The British star has announced two huge shows in July, taking place at Lancashire’s Lytham Festival on July 3rd and Limerick’s Thomond Park Stadium on July 6th, in support of his latest studio album, Britpop, released in January.
Also worthy of a mention are, as always, alt-rock New York band Geese, who previously announced a lengthy North American tour to see out the end of their phenomenal 2026.
Now the Cameron Winter-fronted band have announced an impressively eclectic list of support acts, including Gwenifer Raymond, Billy Woods, LEENALCHI, Julianna Barwick, Bill Orcutt, Easy Star All-Stars, and Cold Court, who will be joining at different stops on the Getting Killed Again tour.
But jump on it quickly, as tickets remain only for the shows in Nashville, Asheville, Queens, Mexico City, Phoenix, and San Diego.
