Nevermind ‘Getting Killed’: How ‘Projector’ laid the foundations for Geese, and why nobody noticed
An underrated effort…

Geese are an American rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2016. Emerging while its members were still in high school, the group attracted widespread attention for its energetic blend of indie rock, post-punk, art rock and experimental influences.
Their debut album, ‘Projector’, was met with critical acclaim for its angular guitar work, dynamic songwriting and the distinctive vocals of frontman Cameron Winter. The band expanded its sound on the follow-up album, ‘3D Country’, incorporating elements of country rock, classic rock and Americana while retaining its adventurous spirit.
Known for ambitious compositions and compelling live performances, Geese have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting young guitar bands to emerge from the New York music scene.
Hype is a beast beyond a band’s control.
“Like a sailor in a big green boat…”
Nothing new, and not the issue to focus on.
You’ve derailed Brat summer, now it’s time to turn your attention to Geese.
