Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are an Australian rock band formed in 1983, best known for their poetic songwriting, dark musical style and albums including 'The Boatman's Call', 'Murder Ballads' and 'Ghosteen'.
'Red Right Hand' is widely regarded as the band's signature song, although 'Into My Arms', 'The Mercy Seat', 'Jubilee Street' and 'O Children' are also among their most celebrated recordings.
The band's line-up has changed frequently throughout its history, but long-serving members have included Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Thomas Wydler, Martyn P Casey, Jim Sclavunos, George Vjestica, Colin Greenwood and Carly Paradis.
