Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Artificial’ finds new home after Amazon drops OpenAI feature

Luca Guadagnino is an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter acclaimed for his visually sumptuous, emotionally intimate films exploring desire, identity, memory and human relationships.
Emerging with films including ‘Melissa P.’ and ‘I Am Love’, Guadagnino achieved international recognition through his acclaimed “Desire Trilogy”—’I Am Love’, ‘A Bigger Splash’ and the Academy Award-winning ‘Call Me by Your Name’. He has since directed celebrated works including the reimagining of ‘Suspiria’, ‘Bones and All’, ‘Challengers’ and ‘Queer’, establishing himself as one of contemporary cinema’s most distinctive auteurs.
Known for his sensual visual style, literary influences and collaborations with actors including Tilda Swinton, Timothée Chalamet and Daniel Craig, Guadagnino has become one of the defining filmmakers of modern arthouse cinema.
