On The Road Again: Willie Nelson unveils 2026 dates for Outlaw Music Festival with huge special guests

Willie Nelson will be hitting the road once more this summer across North America for the Outlaw Music Festival.

The travelling summer event first began in 2016, and over the years, has seen Nelson tour with the likes of Neil Young, as well as Bob Dylan, who participated in the run of dates in 2025.

This summer, the 93-year-old will be joined by a rotating cast of friends, including Wilco, Billy Strings, Stephen Wilson Jr, Margo Price, Sierra Hull, Sheryl Crow, Lukas Nelson and The Avett Brothers.

The tour will begin in Irving, Texas, on July 3rd, before further Texas dates in Austin, billed as Willie’s 4th of July picnic, and The Woodlands.

Outlaw Music Festival will then meander to Maryland Heights in Missouri, Shakopee in Minnesota, East Troy in Wisconsin, Clarkston in Michigan, Noblesville in Indiana, and Tinley Park in Illinois.

Then, the final set of dates will see Nelson and his group of selected artists visit New York state, with shows lined up in Wantagh, Bethel and Saratoga Springs.

Tickets for the Outlaw Music Festival are set to go on general sale on March 27th at 10:00am local time, following a pre-sale on March 25th for Citi Card members.

The latest instalment of dates comes after Nelson confirmed his new album, Dream Chaser, is set to arrive on May 29th. It is his 79th solo studio album, as well as his 156th project in total.

The album is set to include a song, titled ‘I Can’t Read Your Mind’, co-written with his old Outlaw Music Festival touring partner Bob Dylan.

Nelson will also play a small run of 2026 headline dates, beginning in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 22nd. He will then stop in Atlanta, Asheville, Cary, and Wilmington before finishing things off on May 2nd in New Braunfels.
