Summary
After being dismissed from their university positions, parapsychologists Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler establish Ghostbusters, a business dedicated to capturing supernatural entities haunting New York City. Joined by Winston Zeddemore, the team quickly gains fame as paranormal activity increases across the city. Their greatest challenge arrives when Dana Barrett becomes linked to the ancient deity Gozer, whose return threatens to unleash destruction on the world. Battling ghosts, bureaucratic interference and increasingly dangerous supernatural forces, the Ghostbusters must work together to prevent an apocalyptic invasion and save New York City.
