Aerosmith is an American hard rock and blues band who began their music career in 1970. They are most known for their songs ‘Dream On’ and ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ which featured on albums ‘Aerosmith’ and ‘Armageddon’.
The band was formed in Boston, inspired by British rock and rhythm blues while having influence from the classic rock scene. As well, the band often expanded into many different genres including heavy metal, pop rock and country rock.
Lead singer, Steven Tyler’s voice became renowned for his high hitting notes and vast vocal range, allowing the band to create music of many genres while still achieving the classic rock sound.
