Oasis share new unplugged version of ‘Morning Glory’

Oasis have shared a previously unreleased unplugged version of their classic track, ‘Morning Glory’.

The new cut is one of five unplugged tracks that are set to appear on (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), which is scheduled to be released on October 3rd, 2025.

The reissue will also contain unplugged versions of ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Champagne Supernova’, ‘Wonderwall’, and ‘Acquiesce’, which was released in July.

Noel Gallagher, along with engineer Callum Marinho, mixed and produced the five unplugged tracks from the original master recordings at Noel’s London recording studio, Lone Star Sound. The deluxe version of the reissue comes with new artwork courtesy of original designer Brian Cannon and new sleeve notes.

2025 has been the year of Oasis. This weekend, they will wrap up the UK leg of their Oasis Live ’25 tour with two final shows at Wembley Stadium in London, bringing their total of concerts at the iconic venue to seven.

They recently wrapped up the North American leg of their shows, which saw them play at stadiums across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Before the year is done, Oasis still have stratospheric dates in their diary in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

Last month, during an interview on TalkSPORT, Noel said of the tour so far, “I’m completely blown away. It’s difficult to put it into words, actually. It’s kind of like every night is the crowd’s first night, do you know what I mean? So every night’s got that kind of same energy. It’s been truly amazing.”

He also admitted to having “jelly legs” and “wanting to go back to the dressing room” on the first night of the tour in Cardiff on July 4th. “I’ve done stadiums before and all that, but I don’t mind telling you, my legs turned to jelly after about halfway through the second song,” he confessed.
