Coming off the back of their recently expanded UK and Ireland tour, IDLES have added more to their busy schedule with the announcement of additional European live dates.
The band, preparing to release their third record Ultra Mono which is set to arrive on September 25th via Partisan Records, recently pencilled in a time when we will finally get to hear the new material in a space it was born to be played.
The tour will see IDLES begin the run with two shows at Glasgow’s Barrowlands with all roads leading to Brixton on June 18th and 19th with stops lined up in Newcastle, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham and Dublin with tickets going on general sale on Friday at 10am. The band are also offering a limited number of free tickets for key workers which are available on a first-come-first-served basis, here.
With the addition of the European dates which arrive in late May, the Bristol band will first head to Amsterdam before making their way through Hamburg, Munich, Milan, Lisbon, Madrid and many more. You can see the full list of dates, below.
The highly-anticipated follow-up to IDLES’ game-changing album Joy As An Act of Resistance looks set to be a barnstormer judging by the singles ‘Model Village’, ‘Mr Motivator’, ‘Grounds’ and ‘A Hymn’ which have all gone down an absolute treat.
