Gwyneth Paltrow has starred in a new advert for a luxury housing development project in Israel.
The campaign is for 51 Park, which consists of two new 51-storey developments, and is a project by Israeli real estate group Aviv Melisron in the city of Herzliya.
In the clip, Paltrow says, “There’s a reason the world’s most iconic buildings are by a park”. She then asks a driver to take her to “51 Park”, to which he replies, “New York?”, and the Hollywood actor proudly says, “Herzliya, Israel.”
Per Jewish News, the campaign has been crafted by the Israeli creative agency Why Worry and filmed in New York.
Taking to LinkedIn, Why Worry founder Gabi Attal wrote, “To bring this architectural masterpiece to the Israeli audience, we needed a figure who effortlessly embodies international elegance, a premium lifestyle, and uncompromising quality. Enter Academy Award, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Gwyneth Paltrow.”
Paltrow, whose late father, the film producer Bruce Paltrow, was Jewish, has previously given support to Israel on social media following October 7th, writing after the bodies of six hostages were recovered in September 2024, “I send you my heart. I have thought of you every day for 11 months.”
The Marty Supreme actor recently made headlines due to her political beliefs, stating on her Goop Podcast that her husband, Brad Fulchuk, believes she’s a closet Republican.
Paltrow shared, “He’s so progressive. I’m pretty centrist, and my husband thinks I’m a Republican − which, I’m not a Republican.”
She added of the current toxic political climate in the US: “I don’t feel anything right now, to be totally honest with you. I feel like I’m completely an independent.”
