Grammys 2025: Billie Eilish and Charli XCX to perform
The performers for the 67th annual Grammy Awards have been announced ahead of the ceremony on February 2nd. Billie Eilish, Shakira, and Chappell Roan are amongst the names billed, along with a selection of other nominated acts.
The Grammy Awards remain the biggest night in American music, celebrating the year’s biggest artists, songs and albums across genres. In 2025, the competition is hot across the major categories.
For ‘Record of the Year’, The Beatles’ final song ‘Now and Then’ is battling against contemporary artists like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, Kendrick Lamar and more. Elsewhere, in the ‘Best Rock Album’ category, The Rolling Stones are also facing stiff competition from newer, more modern acts such as Fontaines DC and Idles.
Last year, Taylor Swift broke records when she won ‘Album of the Year’ for the fourth time. Nominated again in that category for The Tortured Poets Department, it could be another landmark year for the singer.
All will be revealed on February 2nd when the winners, chosen by members of the Recording Academy, will be announced at a live ceremony in Los Angeles. During the event, there will be nine performances scattered throughout the evening.
Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter were the first performers announced and are all nominees up to win awards that night, including ‘Album Of The Year’. Other performers include ‘Best New Artist’ nominees Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Raye, and rapper Doechii. Shakira, who is nominated for ‘Best Latin Pop Album’, is also set to take to the stage.
Providing a strong lineup of entertainment for the night, comedian Trevor Noah will also be on hand to bring the laughs as he hosts the prestigious event. It marks Noah’s fifth consecutive time hosting the ceremony.
