More About Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards are annual music awards presented by the Recording Academy to recognise excellence in recording, songwriting, production and performance across a wide range of musical genres.
The first Grammy Awards ceremony took place on May 4th, 1959, honouring musical achievements from the previous year.
The Grammy Awards' four General Field categories are Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. These awards recognise overall excellence regardless of musical genre.
