Gallagher brothers crack rich list for first time thanks to Oasis reunion
After Oasis‘ record-breaking reunion in 2025, Liam and Noel Gallagher have made their way onto the Sunday Times’ Rich List for the first time.
The Oasis’ Live 25 tour saw the band play a total of 41 shows across the globe, selling out stadiums everywhere from Melbourne to Buenos Aires, which made for one almighty payday.
The Sunday Times lists the Gallagher brothers’ combined wealth at an eye-watering £375 million, making them the 11th most wealthy force in British music.
According to live music trade publication Pollstar, the reunion is estimated to have generated a whopping $297 million, with Noel and Liam reportedly pocketing around £50 million each through ticketing and merchandising.
Still, the Gallaghers have some catching up to do with Len Blavatnik, who owns Warner Music, who tops the UK music Rich List with a wealth of £26.852 billion.
Others above them on the list include Ed Sheeran, who is ninth with £410 million to his name, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, who are both worth £450 million, and Elton John, who is worth an eye-popping £480 million.
No living musician, however, has more pound notes in their pocket than Paul McCartney, who they estimated to have a net worth of over $1.05 billion.
Oasis will likely only jump higher up the list in the coming years, too, as long as they keep the reunion going. While there are no tour shows lined up in 2026, speculation remains rife that they will return to the stage in 2027 and give the people more of what they want.
They also have an upcoming film on the horizon. Last week, it was confirmed that the untitled documentary is set to open in IMAX and cinemas worldwide for a limited theatrical run, which will start on September 11th.
In addition to capturing the tour, it includes footage of rehearsals, backstage and onstage access to the band, as well as the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher in over 25 years.
Stephen Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, who has overseen the documentary, commented: “I genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film. I believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people.”
