Day splits revealed for Green Man as Wet Leg, Underworld and Kneecap headline
Even before any acts were announced for Green Man, it had already completely sold out within 60 minutes of going on sale. The beloved festival takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Wales’ Bannau Brycheiniog National Park between August 14th and August 17th.
The festival previously announced Wet Leg, Underworld, TV on the Radio, Beth Gibbons, and Kneecap as headliners of the 2025 edition. However, across ten stages, alongside a dedicated children’s area, comedy, literature talks, and performing arts, there’s plenty more on the line-up to explore.
West Belfast’s Kneecap will headline the festival on Thursday and perform on the Far Out Stage. Though the band have been removed from several festivals and remain at the heart of an ongoing terror charge, they are still proudly displayed on the line-up posters. Fellow Irish band Gurriers will perform right before Kneecap.
On Friday, Wet Leg will headline the Mountain Stage, playing after Wunderhorse and John Grant. Over on the Far Out stage, Panda Bear, Greentea Peng and Dove will charge through the evening, while Sex Week, Greg Mendez and Naima Bock add a sprinkle of indie to the Walled Garden.
On Saturday 16th, Boss Morris starts the day early at midday on the Mountain Stage, while up-and-coming rockers Rocket play an early set on the Far Out Stage. Later, Just Mustard serve up solid shoegaze, followed by Fat Dog, Kokoroko and English Teacher. Meanwhile, Caroline will play the Walled Garden stage, certain to be a soaring follow-up to their recent album, which Far Out gave four-and-a-half stars.
The Rising stage is also full of incredible artistry; despite only having one single released thus far, Manchester’s Truthpaste are ones to watch, while Westside Cowboy are set to follow up an incredible Glastonbury set. An incredible run of performers, including MJ Lenderman, Perfume Genius, CMAT, and Underworld, will make it hard to venture from the supreme mountain stage.
Tying everything in a bow, TV On The Radio will headline the final night after Beth Gibbons performs a sometimes melancholic, always reflective set. In the afternoon, acts like Warmduscher, Divorce, Been Stellar, and Folk Bitch Trio make it an irresistible afternoon in the Welsh countryside.
