Kneecap are an Irish hip-hop trio from Belfast formed in 2017 by Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí.
Performing in both Irish and English, the group have become one of the most provocative and acclaimed acts in contemporary music through their politically charged lyrics, satirical humour and energetic blend of hip hop, electronic music and Irish cultural influences. Their debut album, ‘Fine Art’, received widespread critical acclaim, while the award-winning semi-fictional film ‘Kneecap’, in which the members portray themselves, introduced the group to an international audience.
Known for championing the Irish language and challenging political and cultural norms, Kneecap have become one of the most talked-about and influential Irish acts of their generation.

The campaign is led by No Music For Genoicide.
They also stated that antisemitism is “a real issue”.
It comes after the High Court ruled in the favour of Kneecap’s Mo Chara.
The case is finally over.
Mo Chara will not face a new trial.
