Fontaines DC, Kneecap, and Lenny Henry among stars leading Together Against The Far Right campaign

Fontaines DC, Kneecap, and Lenny Henry are among the plethora of stars from across the music and film worlds, coming together to lead the Together Against The Far Right campaign.

The campaign is set to culminate in a massive national demonstration to be held in London on March 28th, 2026, similar to a previous event which was held in the capital earlier this year.

It aims to raise awareness and solidarity with individuals and causes that counter the threat of the far-right, which is increasingly rising across the UK.

Alongside the major names, there are many other famous faces backing the campaign, including Brian Eno, The Charlatans, Frank Turner, Toddla T, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Clean Bandit, Charlotte Church, Beverley Knight, Paloma Faith, Joy Crookes, Aurora, Napalm Death, and Cornershop.

Joining the musicians from the acting world will be the likes of Mark Rylance, Christopher Eccleston, Maxine Peake, Toby Jones, David Harewood, and comedians Lolly Adefope, Asim Chaudhry and Mark Steel.

Announcing the news in a press release, Together Against the Far Right said: “The far right’s false promises exploit the very real economic pressures facing ordinary people, using them to scapegoat migrants, Muslims, and refugees. In response, the alliance aims to unite the country and show that our true strength lies in solidarity.”

Additionally, Henry added: “We stand for love over hate, hope over fear and unity over division. We’re coming together against racism, join us and be a part of it.”

The campaign is set to benefit over 50 organisations involved in the counter-protest of the far right, including Stand Up to Racism, Love Music Hate Racism, and workers’ unions including Unison and Unite the Union.

It comes as far-right protests dominated London in September this year, when over 100,000 people attended a ‘unite the kingdom’ rally where Elon Musk appeared via video link.
