Yungblud apologises for photo with Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann
Yungblud has issued a statement after he was photographed on social media with Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann.
Lindemann shared an image of the pair together in Perth, Australia, earlier this week, alongside the caption, “Absolute pleasure meeting Yungblud in Perth. Have fun in Mumbai!”
In 2023, Lindemann was at the centre of an investigation by German prosecutors after a fan alleged that her drink was spiked before a concert in Lithuania. More women also made similar allegations against Lindemann.
The case was dropped by prosecutors, who stated their investigation “did not provide any evidence” of alleged misconduct by Lindemann.
When the investigation was launched, prosecutors said, “Preliminary proceedings have been initiated against Till Lindemann, on allegations relating to sexual offences and the distribution of narcotics.”
Following the conclusion of the investigation, lawyers for Lindemann said: “The rapid termination of investigative proceedings by the Berlin state prosecutor’s office shows that there is insufficient evidence that our client allegedly committed sexual offences.”
Now, after he was seen on social media with Lindemann, Yungblud has distanced himself from the Rammstein singer, and claimed he was unaware of the allegations.
In an audio message, he said, “I had no idea — obviously at the minute I’m meeting lots of people every day without fully knowing who they are or what they’re about.”
The English star continued, “And I can assure you, if I knew about any allegations, it would have been a completely different story. You all know what I stand for, always. I’ll be more aware of it in the future.”
Yungblud recently returned to the road earlier this month in Australia after postponing a series of shows for health reasons in late 2025.
At the time, he explained to fans, “I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.”
