‘Tabula Rasa’ features on Björk’s latest album Utopia

Following on from the news of Björk’s stunning NYC stage show ‘Cornucopia’ which is capturing the hearts and minds of all that sees it, the artist has shared a new video for her 2017 track ‘Tabula Rasa’.

The song featured on Björk’s most recent album Utopia and has been a moment of joy on her recent run of live shows. So it seems only fitting that ‘Tabula Rasa’, which also features a 12-piece Icelandic flute section, is the latest song to receive the very special Björk video treatment.

Directed by Tobias Gremmler the colourful video features Björk’s face superimposed and rendered onto an ever-evolving and morphing blob, which if you squint, might resemble a human body.

The new video comes in the middle of Björk’s latest run in New York and likely explore the same elemental artistry. Björk recently described it as “most elaborate stage concert yet, where the acoustic and digital will shake hands, encouraged by a bespoke team of collaborators.”
