It appears that The Strokes may have some new music on the way very soon if the latest interview with their booking agent is to be believed. As you might’ve guessed, we’re pretty excited about it.

It’s not such a far fetched thought as The Strokes did share some new music earlier in the year. They debuted the track ‘The Adults Are Talking’ at a show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. We’d hoped there was a new album on the way.

Now, we can be a little more certain though as their booking agent, the President of Artist Group International Marsha Vlasic, has revealed new music is “coming” in an interview with Music Business Worldwide.

“The Strokes are coming with new music,” Vlasic said. “We had a heartbreak [June 2nd] in New York when they were headlining Governors Ball, the weather destroyed our show and we never played, but having them back on the live music scene is exciting.”
