The Strokes debut new song ‘The Adults Are Talking’ | Watch

The Strokes performed their brand new song, ‘The Adults Are Talking’, as they ramp up excitement amid a busy summer of touring.

Julian Casablancas and Co. were playing a packed out show at The Wiltern, Los Angeles, and opened the set with a raucous rendition of ‘Heart in a Cage’. Rolling through their extensive back catalogue, the band performed the likes of ‘The Modern Age’, ‘Soma’ and ‘Last Nite’ before ended the evening with an encore of ‘Is This It’ and ‘Someday’.

The Strokes have been confirmed for a wide-range of festival appearances to take place this summer, including a headline slot at London’s All Points East, Spain’s BBK Festival and more.

While the band have made no official comment on plans to release a follow-up album to 2013 record Comedown Machine, Casablancas began teasing new material during the show in LA and eventually, after a lot of persuasion from the crowd, performed their new number live for the first time.
