The Maccabees announce five huge summer shows for 2026

The Maccabees have announced that they are set to perform five huge outdoor shows in the UK over the course of the summer of 2026.

The classic 2000s indie band have made a triumphant return to form on the live circuit over the course of 2025, eight years on from their original split in 2017.

With massive festival slots both at All Points East and The Park Stage at Glastonbury, the group are clearly hungry for more of that same success, as guitarist Felix White said in a statement: “The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us, and so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively… and who wouldn’t want to do all that again?”

As such, The Maccabees are set to embark on a tour of five huge dates in July, playing in London, Cornwall, Bristol, Brighton, and Leeds, to a combined audience of over 40,000 fans.

In the spirit of celebration, the band are also shortly set to release a special 10th anniversary reissue of their final album Marks To Prove It, which initially came out back in 2015.

Alongside the anniversary reissue, set for release on November 28th, the six-piece will also share the album’s long-lost B-side, ‘Koya’, for the very first time.

The Maccabees massive comeback year was highlighted in their headline set at All Points East, which Far Out said was “everything anyone could have wanted from an event that felt like indie Christmas.”

Additionally, when speaking to Far Out back in June, ahead of their run of festival appearances, the band themselves said the unprecedented response to their comeback had been “incredibly heartening”.

Tickets for The Maccabees summer 2026 shows will go on general sale from November 28th, while presale will be available for their mailing list from November 26th.
