Fat White Family release new track ‘Touch The Leather’

We begin our build up to the very exciting Live at Leeds event taking place at the weekend with a band we’re super excited to see live, Fat White Family with ‘Touch The Leather’ via Hate Hate Hate.

I always get the impression that this London six-piece is a bit dirty, a bit disgusting, and you know they don’t fucking give a shit.

In contrast, this track has been polished and slightly slowed down to suit the video since the last time we heard it.

The video itself is something you probably shouldn’t watch at work. By the way, it features Lias Saoudi singing the tune in slow motion to the camera as a naked bloke rides back and forth on a skateboard.

‘Touch The Leather’ is the latest example of Fat White Family’s charmingly disruptive sensibilities, paving the way for other emerging acts in the scene to don the same cloak of irreverence.

Fat White finished last year with a sold-out show at London’s 100 Club in early December and a Christmas Day split EP with Tamamshud on Trash Mouth Records. The EP also featured a new non-album track, ‘Wet Hot Beef Parts 1 & 2’.
