The Cribs announce details of 'Night Network' UK tour

The Cribs have announced a string of dates across the UK next summer in support of their upcoming album Night Network which is set to be released on November 13th.

The tour will see the band of brothers kick things off at their run of dates at The Roundhouse in London on June 11th visiting Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester with a Yorkshire homecoming lined up at The Piece Hall in Halifax to conclude the tour.

The new record comes following a turbulent time with the band which led to what Gary Jarman described as a “legal morass” after a split with their long-time management which prevented the band from releasing or even recording new music.

The trio’s knight in shining armour came in the form of Dave Grohl who offered up the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606 in Los Angeles for the band as they enjoyed some post-show drinks with him after supporting the Foo’s at the Etihad Stadium in 2018.

“Dave was just like, ‘Forget about all that business stuff, just come out to LA and make a record at our studio’ – Dave made that offer to us,” Ryan Jarman recalled. They didn’t initially take him up on the offer with Ryan adding, “At one point we were actually so disillusioned with what had happened, we didn’t even know if we wanted to get back into the band any more.”

After reuniting after spending Christmas together in Wakefield with Gary and Ryan travelling over from the States — that desire to create returned. They then reached out to Dave to take up his offer and a few months later Night Network was born.

They shared the first taster of the new record with the blistering ‘Running Into You’ earlier this month and know they have pencilled in their first dates since 2018 which will see The Cribs get back to doing what they do best — playing live.
