The Black Keys announce 2026 world tour

The Black Keys have announced that they are set to embark on a world tour throughout 2026.

The American rock duo announced their 14th studio album Peaches last week, set for release on May 1st, and have now followed this up with the news that they will be taking on a massive European and North American tour in the coming months in support of the new record.

Unveiling the Peaches ‘N Kream world tour on Instagram on February 10th, the band described the planned run of gigs as a collection of “venues made for dancing” and “cities we’ve been wanting to see for a long time.”

To this end, The Black Keys had already revealed their two shows in London, set to take place on August 31st and September 1st, along with the announcement of the album.

However, they have now added a new string of dates to go with this, starting on April 24th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, running all the way through until October 18th, where they will conclude the tour at Caesar’s Windsor in Windsor, Ontario.

Along the way across the American, European, and Canadian legs of the tour, The Black Keys will be joined by a range of support acts, including Miles Kane, Eddie 9V, Fai Laci, Robert Finley, and Jeremie Albino.

When discussing the process behind the new album Peaches, Dan Auerbach opened up about the difficult experience he went through while caring for his unwell father.

Describing it as “really primal,” he said the album was made “in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits. I think my dad getting sick made me not give a fuck and just wanna scream for a bit.”

To this end, bandmate Patrick Carney added: “Everything was all cut live in one with no separation, including vocals. It was a nightmare to mix but we got it sounding raw and filthy.”
