Paramore are an American rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. Fronted by vocalist Hayley Williams, the band emerged from the pop-punk and emo scene before evolving into one of alternative rock’s most versatile and influential acts.
Their breakthrough came with 2007’s ‘Riot!’, featuring hits such as ‘Misery Business’ and ‘That’s What You Get’, while later albums including ‘Brand New Eyes’, the self-titled ‘Paramore’, ‘After Laughter’ and ‘This Is Why’ showcased an increasingly diverse sound incorporating new wave, post-punk, indie rock and synth-pop.
Renowned for Williams’ dynamic vocals and the band’s continual reinvention, Paramore have become one of the defining rock bands of the 21st century, earning multiple Grammy Awards and enduring critical acclaim.
