Ezra Collective announce new album, ‘Here Because of Hope’
Arriving in September.

Ezra Collective are a British jazz quintet formed in London in 2012. Emerging from the influential Tomorrow’s Warriors youth music programme, the band have become one of the leading forces behind the UK’s contemporary jazz renaissance, blending jazz with Afrobeat, hip hop, reggae, salsa and grime. Led by drummer Femi Koleoso, Ezra Collective are renowned for their joyful, high-energy live performances and virtuosic musicianship. Their breakthrough albums You Can’t Steal My Joy, Where I’m Meant to Be and Dance, No One’s Watching earned widespread critical acclaim, with Where I’m Meant to Be becoming the first jazz album to win the Mercury Prize in 2023. In 2025, they also became the first jazz act to win the Brit Award for Group of the Year.
The band want to increase diversity in the industry.
The ceremony will take place on March 1st.
