Deftones are an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California, in 1988.
Widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential heavy bands of the past three decades, Deftones have continually evolved beyond their early nu metal roots by incorporating elements of shoegaze, dream pop, post-hardcore, alternative rock and electronic music. Fronted by Chino Moreno, the band achieved breakthrough success with albums including ‘Around the Fur’, ‘White Pony’, ‘Diamond Eyes’, ‘Koi No Yokan’ and ‘Ohms’.
