Pixies share new EP of demos from the ‘Beneath The Eyrie’ sessions

Following the band’s seventh studio album, Behind The Eyrie, which landed last September, Pixies have announced a set of demos recorded before the album’s release will be released online for the first time.

The collection of tracks titled Beneath The Eyrie Demos: Part 1 has been made available on streaming platforms today and sees the indie icons release three tracks.

The selection of releases are titled ‘The Good Works Of Cyrus’, ‘Please Don’t Go’ and ‘Chapel Hill’, the songs, which were written by Black Francis, were all left off the Beneath The Eyrie in the final cutting.

The releases come as a precursor to a big summer for the band, including a huge performance at London’s Hyde Park. The band will perform with Pearl Jam as part of the British Summer Time in a mammoth gig.
