As yet again Oasis reunion rumours are swirling around the tabloid newspapers from mysterious “sources”, Noel Gallagher has moved again to quickly quash any chance of the Gallagher brothers returning to the stage any time soon.
Older brother Noel has been batting away recent rumours with swift and decisive strokes as Liam Gallagher continues to stoke the fires. Even today the rumour mill has begun whirring away and has seen Noel react in exactly the same way.
After previously saying “For the record, until anyone hears it from me, it’s not happening,” Noel has again reiterated “Silence is still golden,” on a Twitter post that also pokes fun at his brother.
Gallagher took to Twitter to say: “Nothing to see here dudes and dollies.
Silence is still golden..” going on to make fun of Liam’s recent single release, “and just in case you weren’t already aware someone still has a new single out. I believe it’s called “Once” which is the exact amount of times it should be played.”
The singer and guitarist continued, It’s still available in all good record shops but mostly in the shit ones. Happy Sunday.”
Sorry folks, it looks as though we’ll be waiting a little while longer for any triumphant Oasis reunion.
