Noel and Liam Gallagher to keep separate backstage areas on Oasis tour

On the upcoming Oasis reunion tour, the Gallagher brothers appear to be erring on the side of caution to ensure conflict is kept at bay. A new report suggests they will have separate green rooms and after-party spaces.

The report comes from The Sun, which quotes a source stating that, “Each of [the brothers] had a VIP list where their friends and famous fans could buy their tickets. But depending on which brother you got your ticket off, it’s their green room and after-party you’re invited to.”

The source explained the logistics: “So if you’re on Noel’s list but fancy going across to say hello to Liam, it’s going to be a case of trying to blag entry. It seems like they are totally separate events.”

Oasis split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up in Paris. After that, Noel refused to go on stage with his brother and soon quit the Britpop band.

Following the outburst, Noel released a snappy statement that explained his departure: “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”

However, the brothers seemed in good spirits at the end of April. During a TALKSport interview, Noel was quizzed about whether his brother Liam is currently “behaving himself.” Noel responded, “I was with him yesterday, actually. He’s alright. He’s on tip-top form.”

Noel’s new comments come after both he and Liam were pictured arriving separately at a working man’s club in Newington Green in London on April 24th. Liam said of the meeting on X in response to a fan: “It was more a video kind of thing like a mini film and word on the street it was BIBLICAL I just get in n out I don’t hang around looking at the screen I’ll see it when you cats see it.”

The tour was in such high demand that Lloyds Banking Group estimated that fake ticket scams cost fans over £2million collectively.
