My Chemical Romance announce new dates for ‘The Black Parade 2026’ world tour
My Chemical Romance have announced that they are set to embark on a world tour in 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, The Black Parade.
The band made the announcement via a social media video on September 22nd, showing a group of people gathering on a stage, all dressed in mourners’ attire, while standing around the shape of a dead body taped out on the floor.
The emo rockers had already announced that they would travel to London to perform two special anniversary gigs at Wembley Stadium in July next year. Now, this has been extended to include shows around the rest of the UK, as well as Europe and North America. Dates in South America and Asia for early 2026 had already been previously revealed.
Alongside this, My Chemical Romance also revealed that for a string of their shows in North America, they will be joined by a different special guest each night. In New York, they will be joined by Franz Ferdinand, Pierce the Veil in Nashville, Modest Mouse in Washington, and in Detroit, it will be Iggy Pop.
Additionally, Sleater-Kinney will appear in Minneapolis, The Breeders in Denver, Babymetal in San Diego, Jimmy Eats World in Phoenix, and The Mars Volta in San Antonio.
My Chemical Romance have already been celebrating the lead-up to the seismic anniversary of their iconic album over the course of this year, taking their Long Live The Black Parade tour across stadiums in America to widespread critical acclaim, hence it now being extended to a world scale.
Tickets for My Chemical Romance’s 2026 world tour will go on sale on September 26th at 12pm local time.
