Miles Kane premieres new song 'See Ya When I See Ya'

Miles Kane has treated fans to a brand new acoustic song on his Instagram page titled ‘See Ya When I See Ya’. It fits with today’s lockdown scenario all too well.

The clip shows Kane performing from his sofa in his living room, in the first verse he croons: “You’re walking around, your head in the clouds/You’re acting as if you’re Mr Johnny Know-It-All,just to come and watch me fall.”

Miles Kane has been keeping himself busy during the lockdown, he recently collaborated with Blossoms via Zoom for a glorious rendition of Tame Impala’s ‘The Less I Know The Better’ where he became an honorary member of the Stockport quintet.

In addition to this, The Jaded Hearts Club recently released their first single which is the Wirral man’s supergroup that also features the likes of Muse’s Matt Bellamy and Blur’s Graham Coxon. The group shared their cover of Marvin Gaye song ‘This Love Starved Heart Of Mine (It’s Killing Me)’ which sees Jet member Nic Cester take up lead vocals.

Founding member of The Jaded Hearts Club, Jamie Davis talked about why the band chose to cover the Gaye classic, revealing: “As soon as I heard ‘This Love Starved Heart Of Mine’ I knew Nic Cester from Jet is one of the few people who could actually sing it. Nic’s vocal has that gut-wrenching on-pitch scream and raw charisma that provide the driving power needed. The track is like a runaway train — big, brassy, brash… a soul classic.”
