Miles Kane and Blossoms got together to perform a perfect cover of Tame Impala’s ‘The Less I Know The Better’ during their respective quarantines. You can catch it below.
Over the weekend Kane joined the Stockport band via video for the cover which was shared to both artists’ social media channels.
In a now lockdown stalwart, Blossoms have shared a brand new cover, this time taking on Kevin Parker’s band after covering the likes of The Beatles and Frank Ocean in previous offerings. With Miles Kane on board to complete proceedings, the stage was set.
With the quarantine forcing us all into lockdown the clip sees the split-screen shared across all members of the ensemble, all playing their respective parts.
The track ‘The Less I Know The Better’ comes from Parker’s 2015 album with Tame Impala, Currents and was inspired by the artist’s love of disco music. Here, Kane and Blossoms bring it into a whole new sphere.
The Stockport band have a habit with finding the groove in every song but this cover has one already built-in and the group benefit from it, finding a familiar slide to the track that makes for some enjoyable watching.
