Watch Marilyn Manson perform acoustic cover of Eurhythmics 'Sweet Dreams' with Linda Perry

Last night Marilyn Manson was joined by 4 Non Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry for a special cover of Eurhythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)’ at the annual Heaven gala.

The Metal legend Marilyn Manson delivered a unique acoustic performance of the track which he gave new life in 1995. The song featured on Manson’s Smells Like Children, the song has since become synonymous with the singer.

Manson was performing as part of a last minute charity event at The Art of Elysium’s annual Heaven gala. The event was held in honour of The Spirit of Elysium winners, actor Topher Grace and his wife Ashley.

Other acts on the bill included Cheap Trick, L7, as well as the surviving members of Nirvana who were joined by Beck, St. Vincent and Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet. It was yet another surprise then when Manson invited Linda Perry on stage to perform with him, Perry taking over the keys.

Manson delivers his typically unique vocal performance in the nuanced cover of the Eurythmics classic and you can see the fan footage below:
