Liam Gallagher slams Melbourne venue for cutting short his set

Liam Gallagher has pulled no punches when describing his last outing at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena. The venue pulled the plug midway through his encore.

The Oasis former frontman was quick to point the finger at the venue which looked to enforce their “tight curfew” in the middle of fan favourite song ‘Supersonic’.

Visiting Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne as part of the Australian leg of his ‘Why Me? Why Not.‘ tour, Gallagher gave his usual rollicking show and departed only to return for an encore.

After returning to the stage the band played the much beloved Oasis track ‘Acquiesce’ without a hitch but organisers cut the show as Liam and his band were midway through ‘Supersonic’.

Naturally, Liam took to Twitter to give the venue a piece of his mind: “Well that was a load of wank getting cut off last song we weren’t that bad I’ve heard worse any ways thems the rules you still smashed it.

“Melbourne biblical stay young stay safe LG x”
