Liam Gallagher announces huge homecoming show for Manchester’s Heaton Park
The Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has announced that he will be coming back to Manchester for a mammoth homecoming gig at the city’s Heaton Park in 2020.
The Why Me? Why Not? singer confirmed via his social media, of course, that he will be taking his current tour into 2020 with a gigantic hometown gig on June 12th. It will be his biggest solo show to date.
Though no support acts have been announced thus far, there is expected to be a huge wave of acts to support LG. With a huge field of 600 hectares to use, even Liam may struggle to fill the space.
But with another number 1 record under his belt, a sold-out tour, a newly announced headline slot at Glasgow’s TRNSMT festival, and the audience loving him more than ever, now seems the perfect time for a bonafide Liam Gallagher Festival, of sorts.
He wrote on Twitter: “So if you haven’t heard I’m playing HEATON PARK 12th June 2020 I’ll be playing songs from my 2 no 1 solo albums and yes you guessed it some stone cold OASIS classics c’mon you know LG x”
Tickets start at £59.50 and can be purchased here on Friday, November 29th from 10 am.
