Liam Gallagher claims he’s banned from throwing his maracas into Oasis crowd
Liam Gallagher has claimed he’s no longer allowed to throw his maracas or tambourines into the crowd at Oasis shows due to fan behaviour.
Gallagher has been on triumphant form during the Oasis reunion tour, which kicked off on July 4th in Cardiff at the Principality Stadium, and has since visited Manchester, London, and Edinburgh, playing multiple nights in each city.
One of the many highlights of the shows has been Gallagher’s gifting his beloved maracas and tambourines to the crowd at each concert. However, sadly, this charitable effort has been brought to an end due to safety concerns.
According to The Sun, Gallagher told the crowd at one of their three shows at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh: “I can’t throw my tambourine out tonight or my maracas I’ve been told not to.”
“I’ve just been told, ‘Don’t do any of that shit anymore,’ because you don’t know how to behave yourselves,” he continued.
Gallagher further explained how this ban has been implemented due to crowd behaviour, adding: “You keep pinching each other on your nipples and ears and fucking shit like that and kneeing each other in the bollocks.”
Elsewhere, while they were in Scotland, Liam used their first show in Edinburgh to hit back at the Edinburgh City Council for expressing their fears for those attending the Fringe due to “rowdy” and “intoxicated” Oasis fans.
Speaking at Murrayfield Stadium, Liam said: “What about Edinburgh council, the fucking slags. The amount of money we’re going to bring in, they’ll split with their posh, ugly mates.” He added, “Still waiting for a fucking apology…”
Oasis are set to continue their Oasis Live ’25 tour this weekend at Croke Park in Dublin, they will perform in the Irish capital on August 15th and August 16th.
Earlier today, they shared a live recording of ‘Little by Little‘ from one of their recent shows at Wembley Stadium in London. The new release comes after they previously released ‘Slide Away’ from Cardiff and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ from Manchester.
