Liam Gallagher hits out at Edinburgh council again: “The fucking slags”

Following previous clashes with the Edinburgh council, Liam Gallagher has attacked them again and has demanded an apology for their comments about the concert.

While the scheduling process was taking place for their sold-out shows this August in Edinburgh, which coincided with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the city council expressed their concerns about the potential mishaps following such an event.

According to comments collected from members of the council, the primary issues raised were related to the “safety of the Fringe performers”, which the council claimed was threatened by the “rowdy” and “intoxicated” Oasis fans.

Responding to the points raised by the Edinburgh city council, Liam wrote on X: “To the Edinburgh council I’ve heard what you said about OASIS fans and quite frankly your attitude fucking stinks I’d leave town that day if I was any of you lot.”

Adding in a separate post, “I’d love to see a picture of all the people on the Edinburgh council bet there’s some real stuning individuals.”

The council’s comments about the Oasis fanbase have stayed with Liam, who added to the conflict once again. In their latest performance in Edinburgh, Liam said: “What about Edinburgh council, the fucking slags. The amount of money we’re going to bring in, they’ll split with their posh, ugly mates.”

Liam Gallagher has publicly demanded an apology from the council for their remarks, declaring: “Still waiting for a fucking apology…”
