Oasis share live recording of ‘Little by Little’ from Wembley Stadium

Oasis have shared another live recording from their reunion shows. This time, the iconic band have offered up ‘Little By Little’ from their fourth night at Wembley Stadium.

The recording reaches almost five minutes. At the beginning, the general hubbub of the crowd can be heard as the Mancunian band gears up to launch themselves into the huge track.

Released in 2002 on the album Heathen Chemistry, the track has stood the test of time with its catchy chorus and splitting guitar riffs. They released the track alongside ‘She Is Love’ as their only double A-side single. It was the third release from their fifth studio album and peaked at number two on the UK chart.

The clip is taken from their August 2nd show at Wembley, their fourth of five nights there. The band will later return to Wembley on September 27th and 28th, for a total of seven nights at the iconic London venue.

They played this track exactly halfway into their set, sandwiched between ‘Half the World Away,’ which they dedicated to “Mancunians,” and ‘D’You Know What I Mean?’.

Other live recordings from the shows have included ‘Slide Away’, taken from their very first reunion show in Cardiff. ‘Slide Away was the sixteenth track the brothers performed, nestled between ‘Cast No Shadow’ and ‘Whatever’.

They also released their beloved track ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’ from the opening night of their Heaton Park shows. Alike the recording of ‘Little by Little’, fans can be heard screaming along the song’s first lines, “Is it my imagination / Or have I finally found something worth living for? / I was looking for some action / But all I found was cigarettes and alcohol.”

Following London, the band played three shows in Edinburgh, and will now take to Dublin for two nights, before flying overseas and beginning the North American portion of their tour on August 24th in Toronto.
