Lana Del Rey is ramping up anticipation around her forthcoming new album Norman Fucking Rockwell with the release of the record’s first music video.

Arriving as a double video for singles ‘Fuck It I Love You’ and ‘The Greatest’, Del Rey reflects on life the West Coast as she sings: “I moved to California, but it’s just a state of mind,” on the first number before adding: “I miss New York and I miss the music,” on the second track.

Norman Fucking Rockwell, the upcoming sixth studio album from Del Rey, will be released on August 30 and will be made up of 14 different songs in collaboration with Jack Antonoff.

Arriving as the follow-up to 2017 album Lust For Life, the new record will also include the previously released singles ‘Mariners apartment complex’, ‘Venice Bitch‘ and ‘Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but I have it’.

“When the writing has got me, I’m on its schedule. But when it leaves me alone, I’m just at Starbucks, talking shit all day,” Del Rey explained to Billboard abutter creative process. “I’ve got a more eccentric side when it comes to the muse of writing, but I feel very much that writing is not my thing: I’m writing’s thing,” she added.

Despite playing down her writing style, new song ‘The Greatest’ includes this gem of a verse:
