Grammys 2026: The full list of nominations

The list of nominations for the 68th edition of the Grammys are finally here.

The ceremony will return to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1st, 2026, to celebrate the past 12 months in music, handing out prestigious prizes such as ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Best New Artist’, and ‘Album of the Year’.

For the nominations announcement, which was streamed live on the Recording Academy’s website, a number of Grammy-winning artists will be on presenting duties, as well as other leading figures from the music industry.

Names involved included Lizzo, Sabrina Carpenter, Nicole Scherzinger, Sam Smith, Mumford and Sons, Jon Batiste, Doechii, Chappell Roan, David Foster, Brandi Carlile and Karol G.

The nominations are led by Kendrick Lamar with nine nods, including nominations in coveted categories such as ‘Record of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’, and ‘Album of the Year’, thanks to his 2024 surprise release, GNX.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga secured seven nominations relating to her album Mayhem, and Sabrina Carpenter, who won big in 2025, also landed six nominations for Man’s Best Friend.

Notably, next year’s Grammys will include two new categories for the first time in history. It will celebrate ‘Best Album Cover’ and ‘Best Traditional Country Album’.

Earlier this year, Harvey Mason Jr, the CEO of the Recording Academy, explained the change: “Each year during our Awards & Nominations review, our focus is on refining our rules, uncovering anything that is no longer working, and ensuring we are celebrating our creative community in the most meaningful way.”

Mason Jr continued, “I’m thrilled that many of this year’s changes including new Category additions and expanded recognition of more crafts in the Classical categories, allow us to honor even more creator.”
