Glastonbury 2025: Watch Olivia Rodrigo perform smash hit ‘Vampire’

The final headline performance of this year’s Glastonbury Festival has erupted into life, with singer Olivia Rodrigo launching into an impassioned rendition of her standout hit ‘Vampire’ early on in her Sunday night set.

The track, taken from her second studio album, Guts, has become something of a signature track from the US performer, and the response from the crowd as she began the song was nothing if not a rapturous indicator of its popularity.

The 22-year-old, who is making her Pyramid Stage debut after a barnstorming set on the Other Stage three years ago, has become the second-youngest artist to headline the festival, coming only behind Billie Eilish, who headlined in the same year.

Having opened with the high-octane one-two punch of ‘Obsessed’ and ‘Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl’, ‘Vampire’ comes as a slight change of pace, but shows the diversity and range of an artist that many were sceptical of having the mettle to take the closing headline slot.

With The 1975 having split opinion with their Friday night headline performance, and Neil Young putting on a spirited display despite having a fraction of the audience on Saturday, Rodrigo’s set appears to be off to a flying start, marking a spectacular way to close proceedings to an eventful year at Worthy Farm.

She followed on from Rod Stewart, Nile Rodgers and Noah Kahan on the main stage and described playing Glastonbury as “a dream come true”. It was evidently a dream come true for many of her fans, too, as the set made of a jubilant close to a rather controversial Glastonbury.

You can watch her performance of ‘Vampire’ below and catch the full set on BBC iPlayer.
