Glastonbury 2025: Haim seemingly confirm secret set

Haim have seemingly confirmed they are one of the special guests set to perform a secret set at Glastonbury Festival.

The full line-up and stage times for Glastonbury were announced by the festival last week. Notably, there are still a handful of high-profile gaps in the set times that need to be filled, including a mysterious band called Patchwork performing on the Pyramid Stage on June 28th in an incredibly prominent slot.

Additionally, there is a TBA slot on the Pyramid Stage on June 27th, and another TBA slot on Woodsies on the same day. However, Haim are ruled out of these two sets due to scheduling commitments.

In a new interview, Este Haim told Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 regarding Glastonbury rumours: “Well, we’re playing Margate,” referring to their stand-alone show at Dreamland Margate on June 27th. She also said they “shall be in the area”.

When asked about their favourite stage at Glastonbury, Haim spoke about their love of The Park Stage, which also has a TBA slot at 19:30 to 20:30 on June 28th. “We love The Park Stage,” Alana said. “The Park Stage is our favourite, ’cause that was like the first time we came to Glastonbury, we got to play The Park Stage. It felt like a movie.”

She continued: “It was like, ‘What is going on? How did we get here?’ And also just like… you never forget the first time you step onto the farm. And it’s the most insane feeling, I think, that you’ll ever have. But it was incredible, it’s the best festival in the world.”

Haim last performed at Glastonbury in 2022 on the Pyramid Stage and had previously been speculated to be Patchwork due to author Sylvia Haim penning a book of the same name. Pulp, who recently released their new album More, have also been heavily rumoured for the slot. Now, Haim’s latest comments suggest The Park Stage is a more likely destination.

Meanwhile, at the weekend, the Daily Mail claimed that Lewis Capaldi is set to fill the as-yet-unannounced TBA slot on the Pyramid Stage on June 27th.

In 2023, Capaldi broke down on stage at the festival, with the singer citing anxiety, strained vocals and his struggle with tics triggered by Tourette’s Syndrome as reasons for him struggling to finish his set. The TBA slot on June 27th is only 30 minutes long, which would provide Capaldi with an opportunity to finish off where he previously left off two years ago.

Glastonbury Festival is set to take place between June 27th and June 29th, with Far Out set to deliver coverage directly from Worthy Farm.
