From Bob Dylan to The Linda Lindas: The biggest shows announced this week
Another week in July has flown by, proving that summer is her own mistress and the news cycle is way too demanding to keep track of when the weather demands to be enjoyed. Feel like you missed out on most of those incessant tour announcements? Here are the biggest, best, and most brilliant tours announced this week.
As living legends go, Bob Dylan might just top the list, and the music maestro has surprised fans across Europe and the UK with a whole host of performances across October, November, and December, ending in a five-night residency at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
However, Dylan’s affairs are strictly phone-free, and his setlists are free-wheeling and unpredictable; even his bandmates aren’t safe, with new faces popping in and out of his latest North American run. His foray this side of the pond is sure to bring more surprises.
If you want to immerse yourself in the full Dylan experience, one of his most beloved support acts, Lucinda Williams, has also unveiled a 31-date North American headline tour.
Billed the World’s Gone Wrong Tour, the Grammy winner will head to most major cities across North America before wrapping everything in a bow with two sets of four-night stands: at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music and Minneapolis’ Dakota.
For music fans after a slightly poppier affair, indie-pop star Liz Lawrence has announced a full UK tour in support of her recently released, acclaimed new album Vespers.
Across nine days in November, Lawrence will stop at Sheffield, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, London, and Bristol, soaring through elements of funk, psychedelia,342y and guitar-rock. Small venues won’t contain her much longer, so get on board quickly.
Jordan Rakei, another coveted genre-fluid musician, has also announced a tour – his biggest UK and European adventure to date, in support of his new album, A Safe Place To Be Wild.
With 2026 quickly trudging along, the most organised music fans amongst us might want to hop on board Rakei’s 2027 tour, kicking off in March and ending with a triumphant London show at Alexandra Palace on April 24th.
Last, but certainly not least, The Linda Lindas have also announced a mighty tour to mirror their latest single, ‘Closer’, featuring their long-time fan and mentor, Hayley Williams.
The punk rock band will bring their riotous energy all across North America throughout September, October, and November, supported by the likes of The Rat Utopia Experiment, Adan Diaz, Vial, Grace Bowers, and Deux Visages. Why not give some music a chance as the winter draws in?
There are enough live dates listed below to stave off your appetite for another week. What a gorgeous day to support live music, hey?
