Lucinda Williams announces extensive 31-date North American headline tour

Lucinda Williams has announced a headlining North American tour in support of her latest album, World’s Gone Wrong.

The 31-date theatre tour, billed the World’s Gone Wrong Tour, will begin with a double show at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse on September 24th and 25th.

From there, the run will include two nights in Washington DC, as well as double shows in New York, Dallas, Toronto, and Woodstock.

The Grammy winner will also make appearances in the likes of Providence, Montreal, North Adams, Charlottesville, Bristol, and Westbury.

With a final flourish, Williams’ tour will wrap with two sets of four-night stands: at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music and Minneapolis’ Dakota.

Though completed in the same breath as her newly announced tour, some of her appearances in Chicago and Minneapolis will fall under the Ballads, Blues and more — A Quiet Night with Lucinda Williams and Her Band umbrella.

Prior to her tour, Williams will provide the supporting act across several dates in late July for musical icon Bob Dylan.
