Donald Trump hits back at “extremely low IQ” Robert De Niro: “Sick and demented”

President Donald Trump has reignited his feud with Robert De Niro, who he has labelled “an extremely low IQ” individual.

Earlier this week, during an appearance on The Best People With Nicole Wallace podcast by MS Now, De Niro said of the president, “The story is our country, and Trump is destroying it, and who knows what his reasons are, but it’s sick, it’s fucked up. We have to save this country.”

The Oscar-winner also called for the people to unite against the current regime, adding, “All I know is people have to have to resist, resist, resist. There’s no easy way. It’s not going to come to you easy.”

De Niro’s rallying cry continued, “You know, there’s a time when you know in your own life and your own survival, you better do this. You better jump and run through the fire because if you don’t run through the fire, you’re not getting out, and that’s what we have to do.”

The Hollywood veteran then claimed that Trump will “never leave” office unless American citizens leave him no other option.

Now, Trump has hit back on his social media stomping ground, Truth Social. The president’s rant began, “When you watch Low IQ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as they screamed uncontrollably last night at the very elegant State of the Union, such an important and beautiful event, they had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, LUNATICS, mentally deranged and sick who, frankly, look like they should be institutionalize.”

He then brought up De Niro, adding, “They should actually get on a boat with Trump Deranged Robert De Niro, another sick and demented person with, I believe, an extremely Low IQ, who has absolutely no idea what he is doing or saying — some of which is seriously CRIMINAL.”

Trump continued, “When I watched him break down in tears last night, much like a child would do, I realized that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O’Donnell, who is right now in Ireland trying to figure out how to come back into our beautiful United States.”

He then said that “the difference” between O’Donnell, who he has been feuding with for decades, and De Niro, is that she is “probably somewhat smarter than him”.

Notably, De Niro has been one of the most prominent dissenting voices of Trump since he began his first term of office in the White House a decade ago, and even turned up to protest against him during his hush money trial in 2024.

Strangely, this latest comment from Trump towards De Niro isn’t the first time that he has labelled him as “low IQ”, having previously used the same insult in 2018 after the actor passionately condemned the politician at the Tony Awards.
