Bruce Springsteen announces ‘Tracks II: The Lost Albums’ project
Bruce Springsteen has shared details of a new project called Tracks II: The Lost Albums which will be launched on April 3rd.
Springsteen hinted at an announcement earlier this week which has now been confirmed to be Tracks II: The Lost Albums. However, the full details surrounding the project have still been kept under wraps ahead of the imminent statement.
Notably, Springsteen previously released Tracks: The Lost Albums in 1998 which contained 66 unreleased tracks from the start of his career to that point. Therefore, it’s presumed that Tracks II: The Lost Albums will contain unreleased material over the last few decades to the present day, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Additionally, the promotional video released to tease the announcement includes the line, “What was lost has now been found.” It also shows paperwork dated 1993 and 1997, which is assumedly when two of the compositions were written.
Springsteen has a busy year ahead, including a huge summer tour that will see him visit the United Kingdom to perform three shows at the Co-op Live in Manchester and two concerts at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool. He will also play dates across Europe in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Spain.
The story of his seminal album, Nebraska, is also being turned into the biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, which stars Jeremy Allen White as ‘The Boss. Praising White’s performance, Springsteen previously said: “Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognise. He’s just done a great job, so I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”
Deliver Me From Nowhere doesn’t currently have a specific release date but will be in cinemas in 2025.
